We have Able Air Cooled Diesel & Water Cooled Diesel Generators
Solar / wind home units will often use Air Cooled Diesel so long as the hours are kept below about 3 hours per day as they are the cheapest but the trade-off is air cooled is shorter life-span compared to the Water Cooled models.
It is best to match expected hours per year of usage and Amp requirements of charging system.
